This course provides effective strategies to support caregivers through education and care coordination, ultimately improving the health and well-being of the caregiver and care recipient. This course can be taken on its own or as a supplement to the foundational course. 

Objectives:

  1. Recognize the important role of caregivers in providing patient care.
  2. Identify ways to support caregivers through education and care coordination.
  3. Identify how to leverage community resources to support caregivers.
