The Cognitive Health Assessment: The Basics
My courses
Learn how to perform a cognitive health assessment (CHA) with your patients.
This course guides you through conducting a brief, annual cognitive health assessment (CHA) with your patients. You'll learn why the assessment is important, how to follow a three-step process to administer it, and what actions to take if the results are positive. The course also reviews documentation, billing codes, and how to develop a brain health plan with patients.
If your patient is Medi-Cal only, use CPT-4 code 194F for reimbursement. Billing requirements are covered at the end of the course. Select the course and click Enroll to get started.
