Diagnosis and Treatment of DementiaLearning Objectives • Differentiate what is and what is not dementia to make an accurate diagnosis • Identify the types of medications used to treat various dementias and complications • Discuss pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic options to treat the most common psychiatric and behavioral symptoms |

Dementia CareLearning Objectives • List the elements of various models to provide comprehensive dementia care • Develop a plan of care to manage patients with dementia and support their caregivers • Discuss the roles, needs, and challenges of family members as caregivers for a patient with dementia |
